Poem 46: Leaves

rose petals

at my feet

one advantage

of an outside toilet

unsuspectingly

married again

by my son

and a newly found

box of confetti.

sleeping leaves

awoken

by the feet

of running children.

___________________

Mary had

a little lamb

his fleece

was white

as snow

and to every one

who needed him

the Lamb

was sure to go.
